1. Seller

The Verdamare online shop is operated by the seller below. Before ordering, verify that the entity shown on the invoice matches the selected seller.

2. Scope and definitions

These terms apply to online purchases of goods and agreed services. A “consumer” is a natural person acting outside a trade or profession; a “business customer” orders for business purposes. Mandatory consumer rights prevail over any conflicting clause. A specific written quotation or contract may supplement these terms.

3. Product and unit information

Descriptions, images, measurements, weight, pack size, composition, origin and compatibility are prepared with reasonable care. Supplier-imported data is reviewed before publication, but packaging or specifications may change. A price must state whether it is per piece, pack, gram, 100 g, kilogram, millilitre or litre. Images may be illustrative; essential characteristics are stated in the text and order confirmation.

4. Prices, tax and charges

The price validated by the server at order submission applies. Before confirmation, the product price, discounts, delivery, tax and total are shown. Tax treatment depends on the seller’s status, customer, destination and goods; a VAT ID is published only when confirmed. An obvious technical pricing error is not binding, but the customer may accept a corrected offer or cancel without cost before delivery.

4A. Discounts, ranking and reviews

When announcing a price reduction, we identify the prior price in accordance with applicable rules on the lowest price in the prescribed reference period. If a price were personalised through automated decision-making, that fact would be clearly disclosed before ordering; prices are not personalised by default. “Popular” products may be ranked by views, basket additions and purchases, “similar” products by category and characteristics, and “recommended” products may also reflect manual editorial selection. Paid placement must be labelled. If reviews are published, we explain whether and how we verify that they come from customers and do not claim verification where it cannot be demonstrated.

5. Order and contract formation

Basket contents are not reserved until successful submission. The customer can review and correct data before placing the order. The final button must clearly indicate an obligation to pay. An automated receipt does not necessarily constitute acceptance where stock, price, B2B minimum or delivery must be checked. The contract is formed when we expressly accept, send an approved payment link, or dispatch the goods, according to the process displayed.

6. Stock, backorder and payment approval

Displayed stock is informative until server confirmation. Quantity 0 is not “in stock”; a product may be “on order” or “out of stock”. For backorders, a card is normally not charged until an administrator confirms the lead time and the customer accepts any change. If supply is impossible, we reject the order and refund any payment received.

7. Accounts and guest checkout

Checkout may be available with or without an account. The customer is responsible for accurate data and password security. A business can save multiple delivery locations. Converting a private account to business preserves its identifier and history but may require renewed verification.

8. Payment methods

Available methods depend on customer type and administrator settings: online card, card on delivery, card in store, or invoice/bank transfer for a business customer. Card payment is successful only after confirmed payment-provider notification. We do not charge a payment-method fee exceeding the actual cost and charge one only where lawful. The seller may require stock approval before releasing a payment link.

9. Invoices and documents

Order confirmation, pro-forma invoice, invoice and payment receipt may be issued electronically and stored in the account or protected link. The customer must verify company details before issue. Fiscal verification, EOR/ZOI and similar elements are used only where required by the actual payment flow and Slovenian law; an ordinary PDF alone is not proof of fiscal verification.

10. Delivery

Method, price, area and estimated time are shown before order placement. Unless otherwise agreed, the contract is fulfilled without undue delay and within 30 days unless another period is agreed or the law provides otherwise. Times are estimates for backorders, custom goods, supplier-dependent goods and international freight. We notify a material delay and offer a new deadline or the remedy required by law.

11. Risk and delivery inspection

For a consumer, risk normally passes on physical possession, unless the consumer independently appoints a carrier not offered by the seller. Visible packaging damage should be photographed and recorded on delivery; this does not reduce statutory conformity rights.

12. Consumer withdrawal

A consumer generally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. For goods, the period normally starts on physical receipt; statutory rules apply for multiple goods and partial deliveries. Notice must be sent before expiry to sale@verdamare.si. The form below may be used but is not mandatory.

Model withdrawal form

Send this form to: sale@verdamare.si, Štihova Ulica 13, Ljubljana, 1000, Slovenia

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the following goods/services: ________________________________

Goods/services: ________________________________

Order date: __________   Date received: __________

Consumer name: ________________________________

Consumer address: ________________________________

Date: __________   Signature (paper form only): __________

13. Effects of withdrawal and return

Following valid withdrawal, we refund payments including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered, within the statutory period. We may withhold refund until goods are received or evidence of return is supplied. The consumer returns goods without undue delay and normally bears direct return cost if informed. The consumer is liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish nature, characteristics and functioning.

14. Withdrawal exceptions

There is no withdrawal right in statutory cases, including goods made to precise instructions or clearly personalised, rapidly perishable goods, sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, and fully performed services following an express prior request and acknowledgement of loss of the right. Ordinary unopened packaged tea or coffee is not automatically excluded merely because it is food; the facts and law determine the exception.

15. Conformity of goods

The seller is liable for lack of conformity existing at delivery and becoming apparent within two years. The consumer must notify the seller and allow inspection. The consumer can generally first request free repair or replacement unless impossible or disproportionate. Conformity is restored within a reasonable time and at most 30 days; under statutory conditions this can be extended by no more than 15 days. Price reduction or termination is available when statutory conditions are met.

16. Guarantees, complaints and service

A commercial guarantee applies only where expressly stated and does not restrict statutory conformity rights. Send a complaint to sale@verdamare.si with the order number, description and evidence. We respond without undue delay. Installation, service or design may be subject to additional quotation terms.

17. Food, tea, coffee and allergens

Before use, check the delivered label, best-before date, storage, ingredients and allergens because producer packaging may be updated. Online information does not replace the mandatory label. A person with an allergy should request the current declaration before purchase. Open food may be unsuitable for return on health or hygiene grounds where statutory conditions are met.

17A. Product safety and recalls

Use products in accordance with instructions, warnings and intended purpose. Where legally required, the online offer aims to display the manufacturer, EU responsible person, product identifier and important safety warnings. In a safety recall, order contact data may be used to notify the customer and provide stop-use, return, replacement or refund instructions. Report a safety incident to sale@verdamare.si.

18. Custom goods and services

For custom furniture, decoration, equipment, design, installation or another bespoke item, specification, price, time and advance payment are agreed before work. Goods made to precise consumer instructions may be exempt from withdrawal. For a service started during the withdrawal period, an express request may be required; on withdrawal, a proportionate amount for completed work may be payable where lawful.

19. Business customers

Consumer rights apply to a business customer only where the law expressly provides. Agreed minimum quantities, packaging, quotations, delivery, payment terms and credit limits apply. A customer providing an incorrect tax status or address is responsible for resulting consequences within the law. A specific quotation prevails over these general terms.

20. Changes to an active order

Before a blocking status, the customer may request a quantity, product or address change. The request does not itself amend the contract; it is effective only after seller approval and any revised calculation or payment. Changes are normally unavailable after dispatch.

21. Liability

Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. For business customers, a specific quotation may reasonably limit indirect loss, lost profit or business interruption. The seller is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect customer data, incompatible use, unauthorised modifications or events beyond reasonable control, while remaining obliged to use reasonable care.

22. Intellectual property and reviews

Texts, images, plans, logos and software elements are protected. Normal shop use is permitted; copying for resale, systematic extraction or misleading trademark use requires permission. A reviewer confirms lawful content and grants a non-exclusive display licence; personal data may be removed from a review.

23. Complaints and ADR

First send a complaint to sale@verdamare.si. If rejected, our response will provide information about a consumer ADR entity where ZIsRPS requires it. Our current choice is:

The provider does not voluntarily recognise a specific consumer ADR entity as competent, except where participation is mandatory by law.

The former EU ODR platform ceased operation on 20 July 2025, so no obsolete ODR link is provided. A consumer may still use a competent ADR body, regulator or court.

24. Law, language and final terms

Slovenian law applies, but the choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence. Jurisdiction follows mandatory EU and national rules. Translations are provided for accessibility; ambiguity is resolved consistently with mandatory consumer protection. Invalidity of one clause does not affect the remainder. The published version applies from the date above.
