Privacy notice
This notice explains how Verdamare processes personal data in accounts, registrations and orders.
1. Controller and contact
The controller is Ilia Valuev s.p., registration number 9957596000, identification number 65533712, Štihova Ulica 13, Ljubljana, 1000, Slovenia. Questions about personal data may be sent to sale@verdamare.si or by telephone to +386 69 66 52 45.
2. Data we process
We process account identifiers, name, contact details, delivery addresses, company details, order and payment status, support messages, consent records and technical security logs. Social-media profiles are processed only when you enter them voluntarily. Payment-card data are handled by the selected payment service provider and are not stored in Customer Hub.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Account and order data are used to create and administer the account, process orders, deliver goods, issue documents, prevent fraud and comply with accounting, tax and consumer-law obligations. These activities are normally based on performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, legal obligations and legitimate security interests. Marketing and social-publication verification are optional and are based on separate consent.
4. Recipients and processors
Data may be disclosed only as needed to hosting and e-mail providers, payment providers, accountants, delivery companies, IT support and public authorities acting under law. Each provider receives only the data needed for its role.
5. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Slovenia or the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, an appropriate transfer mechanism and supplementary safeguards must be used. The current list of processors and transfer mechanisms should be maintained by Verdamare in this notice.
6. Retention
Account information is retained while the account is active and for the period needed to resolve claims. Order, invoice and tax records are retained for the statutory period. Unconfirmed registrations are removed after the configured expiry period. Optional marketing and social-promotion data are removed or anonymised when consent is withdrawn, unless another legal obligation requires retention.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and object to processing. You may withdraw an optional consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
8. Required and optional fields
Fields marked as required are needed to create an account, identify the customer, process an order or satisfy legal obligations. Marketing consent, social profiles and participation in the publication-discount programme are optional. Refusing an optional consent does not prevent account registration or ordinary purchases.
9. Security and changes
Verdamare uses access controls, encrypted private storage where supported, audit records and e-mail confirmation. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Material changes to this notice will be published with a new version and, where required, communicated to account holders.
