Maté is the leaf of a South American holly, brewed like tea for its gentle, long-lasting lift.

A product with no flavourings or additives.

The raw material is certified organic: grown without synthetic pesticides or mineral fertilisers, with a documented supply chain from plantation to warehouse.

Maté contains caffeine; it lifts steadily and for a long time, without a spike or a subsequent drop.

Preparation: 15 g per litre, 5 minutes, water at 80 °C. Maté is not brewed with boiling water — at 100 °C it turns harshly bitter. 80 °C gives the grassy, smoky softness it is drunk for.

The proportions are a starting point, not a rule: adjust them by up to 20 % to suit your water and your taste.

Suitable both for the retail shelf and for a venue’s tea list: a recognisable profile, a predictable result in the cup, consistent quality from batch to batch.

Storage: in a tightly sealed opaque container, away from light, moisture and strong odours. Tea readily absorbs foreign aromas, so it should not be kept next to spices or coffee.
